It presents a context of smallholder farmers operating in state forest area, prevalent in many parts of Indonesia, and their endeavours in increasing yields and incomes, strengthening farmer cooperation, and preparing for market access, all while preserving forest cover. Focussing on experiences and opinions shared by participating smallholder farmers, it sheds light on the questions: Which of the project\u2019s interventions where effective and why? Where is still more support needed? And what should be the next steps?
