Inclusive Dialogue – Opportunities and Solutions for Producers to Meet the EUDR

As the world’s leading beef exporter, Brazil is facing major challenges with its consumer markets, especially the European Union, which is soon to implement its anti-deforestation law. Addressing the new demands could put Brazilian livestock in a prominent position not only in relation to Europe, but the entire world, said representatives of the sector, gathered on 30 October 2024 for the Inclusive Dialogue – Opportunities and Solutions for Producers to Meet the EUDR.

The online debate was the second in a series of meetings organised by the Brazilian Sustainable Livestock Roundtable MBPS (Mesa Brasiliera da Pecuária Sustentável) to discuss the challenges to be faced by the livestock value chain in Brazil with the imminent entry into force of the European Deforestation Regulation (EUDR). At this meeting, different players came together to present solutions and alternatives for rural producers to meet the requirements of the new standard.
