{"id":40135,"date":"2026-06-10T10:45:49","date_gmt":"2026-06-10T08:45:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/zerodeforestationhub.eu\/?post_type=event&#038;p=40135"},"modified":"2026-06-10T10:50:56","modified_gmt":"2026-06-10T08:50:56","slug":"report-living-income-gap-cocoa","status":"publish","type":"event","link":"https:\/\/zerodeforestationhub.eu\/fr\/evenement\/report-living-income-gap-cocoa\/","title":{"rendered":"Launch of Report on Living Income Gap of Cocoa Producers in Cameroon"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>We are pleased to invite you to the virtual launch event of the new JRC\u2013FAO report <em>Bridging the Living Income Gap for Cocoa Producers in Cameroon: Insights and Policy Recommendations from a Large-Scale Household Survey<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event is organised by the European Commission\u2019s Joint Research Centre (JRC) and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), in partnership with the National Cocoa and Coffee Board of Cameroon (ONCC). The report was developed under the EU-funded Sustainable Cocoa Programme, which supports efforts in Cameroon, C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire and Ghana to improve cocoa farmers\u2019 livelihoods, address child labour in cocoa supply chains and strengthen forest protection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cameroon is the world\u2019s fifth-largest cocoa producer and a key actor in the global cocoa market. Yet many cocoa-producing households still face significant challenges in achieving a decent standard of living.
