The workshop clarified that EUDR compliance is based on existing Ghanaian law, not legal reform. Key areas identified as relevant for due diligence are land use, child labour, environmental concerns, and workers\u2019 rights. Many legal requirements were deemed not applicable to smallholder cocoa farming.
