In addition, ITC has also launched three new handbooks to further support businesses in meeting EUDR requirements ahead of the regulation\u2019s entry into application on 30 December 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>ITC handbooks are designed to help businesses navigate the complexities of EUDR<\/strong>, which applies to key commodities including coffee, cocoa, palm oil, cattle, rubber, soya and wood, as well as selected derived products. The handbooks&nbsp;<strong>offer step-by-step guidance, practical business scenarios, and recommendations<\/strong>&nbsp;to assess risks and prepare due diligence statements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The three new handbooks address emerging needs identified by companies, business support organizations, and policymakers:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Downstream due diligence for non-SME companies:<\/strong>&nbsp;A step-by-step guide for large downstream operators and traders to meet their obligations under the EUDR.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Legality compliance:<\/strong>&nbsp;A practical guide to understanding and demonstrating compliance with the regulation\u2019s legality requirements, including examples of documentation and evidence.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Voluntary Sustainability Standards (VSS):<\/strong>&nbsp;An analysis of the role of VSS in EUDR compliance, explaining how certification can support risk assessment but cannot replace due diligence obligations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cThese updates reflect the latest regulatory developments and respond to the questions and challenges raised by businesses as they prepare for compliance<\/em>,\u201d said Mathieu Lamolle, Senior Advisor and ITC\u2019s EUDR focal point.&nbsp;<em>\u201cWith these new resources, ITC aims to empower companies of all sizes to take action, avoid trade disruptions, and contribute to deforestation-free value chains.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The full series now includes&nbsp;<strong>9<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>handbooks<\/strong>&nbsp;covering topics ranging from introductory guidance on EUDR for companies within and outside the European Union, technology solutions and operational checklists, to these newly added 3 specialized modules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The handbooks are available for free download on<a href=\"https:\/\/www.intracen.org\/our-work\/topics\/sustainability\/deforestation-free-global-value-chains\/handbooks-on-the-EUDR\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">&nbsp;ITC\u2019s dedicated page<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Le Centre du commerce international (CCI) a d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 cinq manuels de conformit\u00e9 au RDUE.
