But what are the solutions required to make effective traceability a reality?Traceability is fundamental to responsible sourcing. Effective traceability allows companies to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Mitigate sourcing risk with confidence<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrate compliance with emerging regulations such as the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Build trust by fulfilling voluntary commitments to Deforestation- and Conversion- Free supply chains.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ultimately, traceability is vital for advancing the responsible sourcing of commodities linked to deforestation, conversion, illegality and\/or human rights violations \u2013 including timber, palm oil, soy, rubber, cocoa, beef\/leather, and coffee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As demand and shareholder expectations grow for traceability, there is a strong need for effective solutions.
