Operators must conduct due diligence to demonstrate that products are legally produced and deforestation-free, compiling evidence on traceability and compliance. The EUDR defines \u2018relevant legislation\u2019 in the producing country across seven areas: land use, environment, third-party rights, labour rights, free, prior and informed consent, human rights, and tax, trade, customs and anti-corruption.
