With around 50% of its exports destined for the EU, the country is working to establish enabling conditions that allow supply chain actors to comply with these new requirements.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The national process was led and hosted by the Conseil National des Exportations (CNE), with technical support from the FIT for FAIR project. Together with over 90 stakeholders, the process resulted in a roadmap identifying policy gaps, legal alignment needs, and concrete recommendations.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Significant progress has been achieved in areas such as traceability, land tenure, and child protection. However, persistent challenges remain, including fragmented traceability systems, informality, and high compliance costs.
