As part of the TEI Outreach activities, the Eurotrip aims to facilitate the exchange between EUDR implementing partners from African countries and key European stakeholders involved in the operationalisation of the EU-Deforestation Regulation. The visit will focus on clarifying open questions, understanding official procedures, building mutual learnings and trust and enhancing international partnerships to support producing countries to adequately prepare for the EUDR application.
Discussions will focus on cooperation structures between African countries and the EU, exchange of national approaches for EUDR application, challenges and opportunities related to meeting EUDR requirements, as well as solutions and experiences the trip will facilitate business matchmaking opportunities, fostering cooperation and knowledge-sharing among stakeholders.
