The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the Team Europe Initiative (TEI) on Deforestation-free Value Chains are pleased to invite to a regional Asia-Pacific multistakeholder dialogue on 23-26 June 2026 (Hanoi, Viet Nam), hosted by the Viet Nam Administration of Forestry (VNFOREST) and the Department of Plant Production and Protection (DPPP) of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment of Viet Nam.
The meeting aims to prompt cross-commodity (natural rubber, coffee and palm oil) learning exchanges for governments, industry leaders, and smallholder representatives on solutions to decoupling agricultural value chains from deforestation. As part of the workshop, participants will develop a shared roadmap to strengthen regional collaboration on value chain approaches and exchange on how national traceability systems can advance halting deforestation efforts and rural development objectives.
