Practical Guide for Implementing Due Diligence and Alignment with the EUDR and CSDDD
This entry guide in the FIT for FAIR toolkit explains how to implement due diligence systems that comply with the EUDR and align with the CSDDD for Colombia’s coffee, cocoa and palm oil chains. It outlines objectives, scope and obligations of both legislations, emphasizing parcel‑level geolocation (GeoJSON/WGS84) and documented traceability under the EUDR, and broader social and environmental risk management under the CSDDD.
It proposes 12 priority actions and a five‑step process (policy and procedures; information and supply‑chain mapping; risk assessment; mitigation; monitoring/communication), and lists open tools for mapping, monitoring, legality and HREDD.
