This report constitutes an initial diagnostic report on the situation of Chile and its beef and forestry industries in relation to compliance with Regulation (EU) 2023/1115 on deforestation-free products (EUDR). It provides an assessment of the main gaps and challenges Chile faces in meeting the requirements of the EUDR, with a focus on the beef and forest products value chains. The study was developed based on interviews with public and private stakeholders, analysis of national and international documentation, and a review of relevant information platforms.
