Second High-Level Workshop on the EUDR – Lao PDR

On 12 August 2024, the second High-Level Workshop on the EUDR was held in Luang Prabang, Lao PDR. Co-hosted by the EU Delegation to Lao PDR and the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry (MAF), this event provided a platform for key provincial stakeholders from 11 northern provinces to discuss the challenges, opportunities, and support needed for Laos to ensure deforestation-free commodity production. The workshop forms part of a series of actions aimed at fostering exchanges among key EUDR stakeholders, including government agencies, academia, non-state actors and the business community, to promote deforestation-free supply chains in Laos.
