Technical Workshop on EUDR – Lao PDR

On August 16, 2024, the EU Delegation to Lao PDR hosted a technical workshop in Vang Vieng on the EUDR. This workshop aimed at enhancing exchanges among key stakeholders in the Lao natural rubber sector. Participants, including rubber producers, processors, exporters, and NGOs, discussed the opportunities and challenges of the EUDR. The workshop fostered a deeper understanding of the regulation and gathered feedback to support Lao stakeholders in preparing for deforestation-free production and traceability in the rubber sector.
