The European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) is reshaping market access for agricultural commodities by introducing mandatory requirements related to deforestation-free production, traceability, and legality. While the regulation primarily places obligations on companies placing products on the EU market, its implementation has significant implications for the smallholder farmers who supply these value chains. This webinar will share the findings from a survey of over 330 smallholders across 16 countries in Africa, Asia, and Latin America examining their awareness and preparedness, the practical barriers they face, and the support they need to remain part of EUDR-compliant supply chains.
