To present Colombia’s progress towards implementing the EUDR and foster dialogue among public authorities, commodity supply chains, international cooperation partners, and European operators. The meeting will address existing capacities and tools, remaining gaps, and priorities to facilitate due diligence processes and maintain access for Colombian products to the European Union market.
At this stage, it is particularly important to connect two perspectives. On the one hand, the capacities, information systems, and tools that Colombia can make available to supply chains. On the other, the challenges European operators are facing in collecting, verifying, and assessing the information required to comply with the EUDR’s due diligence requirements.
