As part of the “Engagement with Indonesia, Malaysia, Laos, Thailand and Vietnam to raise awareness on and to promote better understanding of the EU approach to reducing EU-driven deforestation and forest degradation (EUDR Engagement)” project, a cross-commodity workshop was held to disseminate the results of the commodity-specific (cocoa, coffee, natural rubber) Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) and findings from related studies to a broader audience. This initiative aimed to contribute to fostering a more positive narrative around the European Union Regulation on Deforestation-free Products (EUDR).
The overarching goal was to promote collaboration, enhance awareness, and clarify the roles and responsibilities of various stakeholders impacted by the EUDR in Indonesia and further spread information already gathered during other FGD events.
