The second session of the Sustainable Finance Knowledge Journey, presented by Climate&Company and Sustainable Agriculture for Forest Ecosystems (SAFE), explores key topics in sustainable finance through four insightful panel discussions.

[0’37”] The first panel, “Unlocking The Benefits For Sustainability Reporting For Deforestation-free Supply Chains”provides an overview of sustainability reporting and its relevance in promoting more sustainable, deforestation-free supply chains. It emphasizes the pivotal role of smallholder farmers and local communities in this transformation.

[11’45”] The second panel,“How Sustainability Reporting Drives Transparency in Deforestation-Free Supply Chains” highlights the importance of transparency for achieving deforestation-free supply chains, supported by a practical case study from Brazil.

[21’45”] The third panel, “Sustainable Finance Taxonomies: How They Can Support Smallholder Farmers”introduces sustainable finance taxonomies and explains their potential to support smallholder farmers and enhance sustainability in supply chains.

[31’37”] The last panel,“Showcase: Brazilian Sustainable Finance Taxonomy” offers a comprehensive look at Brazil’s Sustainable Finance Taxonomy, with a specific focus on its application in the agricultural sector.
