These tasks demand technical expertise, resources, and often external support. While certifications, standards, and industry initiatives offer guidance – but they are often not enough on their own. An increasing number of digital tools, from free open-source solutions to comprehensive paid systems, are available to facilitate implementation and bring information together. A large offer of software solutions has been created but getting an overview of these options can be challenging.
This publication assists companies in selecting appropriate software solutions for geodata collection, deforestation risk analysis, supply chain mapping, and EUDR complete solutions. The core element of the publication is a structured set of criteria that describes the most important requirements, functionalities, and framework conditions that the tools should fulfill.
