Sustainability Requirements for Exports of Agro-Industrial Products to the EU

This document presents the most relevant technical information on the different regulations and initiatives of the European Green Deal (EVP) that affect or may affect exports of agro-industrial products to the European market and analyses the obligatory and optional sustainability requirements of the main importing countries in the EU market.

The sectors and products under study were selected based on a number of criteria and considerations, such as the relevance of each sector in the context of the agro-industrial sector, their economic and export impact, and their potential for sustainability.
