The project “Evaluación Nacional de Riesgo EUDR y fortalecimiento de capacidades locales para la implementación de Sistemas de Debida Diligencia en cadenas de cacao” supports small producer associations by seeking to strengthen local capacities, knowledge and learning, as well as generating technical tools to guide the strengthening and sustainability of Due Diligence Systems (DDS) at organisational level. The project also seeks to align and coordinate the efforts of the various entities that support or assist producers and their associative organisations to adapt to the requirements of the EUDR. The project also aims to develop a ‘National Risk Assessment for the Cocoa Chain’ to support and facilitate adaptation of the various actors and stakeholders in the cocoa supply chain.
This report highlights the EUDR risk assessment in Ecuador’s cocoa supply chain.
