This study assesses Vietnam’s coffee sector’s readiness and capacity to comply with the EUDR, particularly focussing on two major production regions: the Central Highlands (Dak Lak, Gia Lai, Dak Nong, Lam Đong) and the Northwest (Son La, Dien Bien). Research sites were selected based on four criteria: large forest coverage, ethnic diversity, agricultural land comprising over 50% of natural land area, and coffee cultivation accounting for more than 40% of agricultural land.
