This report summarises stakeholder consultations held in Yaoundé on the legal framework governing cocoa production and trade in Cameroon, in relation to the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR). The workshop reviewed relevant national legal requirements across land tenure, environmental protection, labour, human rights, fiscal and trade domains. Discussions focused on the practical implementation and documentation of these requirements for EUDR compliance. Key challenges include informal practices, documentation gaps, and the need for improved training and group organisation among producers. The findings will inform further expert review and the development of due diligence guidance for operators.
