This report systematizes the experience of more than ten pilot projects carried out in Argentina during 2024–2025 to assess the soybean supply chain’s ability to comply with the requirements established by the European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR).
The lessons learned from these pilot projects are organized with the aim of identifying strengths, limitations, and opportunities for improvement in traceability and verification processes. This analysis constitutes a strategic technical input to optimize the Argentine agro-export sector’s preparedness for the EUDR requirements and ensure continued competitive access to the European Union.
