This module presents a support tool for due diligence on the legality of cocoa in Cameroon under the EUDR. It identifies all Cameroonian legal requirements relevant to cocoa production, covering land-use rights, environmental protection, third parties’ rights, free, prior and informed consent, tax, anti-corruption, trade and customs, labour rights, and human rights. The methodology is based on mapping and assessing the relevance of national legal requirements, with input from multi-stakeholder consultations. The tool is designed to guide operators and authorities in compliance efforts, harmonise due diligence approaches, and adapt to evolving legal and regulatory contexts.
